We specialize in the design, construction, and maintenance of workboats, offering a wide range of vessels for various maritime applications. Within this setting, our finance department plays a crucial role in maintaining financial stability and supporting the growth of our division. /p h3The role /h3 pAs a Business Controller, you will be part of the Control team of the Finance Control department. You will work closely with various departments and yards to ensure effective financial management and decision‑making. This role requires a deep understanding of both finance and IT, as well as the ability to translate technical concepts into financial insights. You will collaborate closely with team leaders to optimize financial performance, drive cost efficiency, and contribute to the achievement of strategic objectives. /p h3Key accountabilities /h3 ul libBudgeting and Forecasting: /b Help develop budgets and financial forecasts, and monitor performance against these targets including risks and opportunities. /li libBusiness control: /b Contribute to the business control activities (budgeting, forecasting and business compliance) in close collaboration with the local Finance Managers and senior colleagues. /li libData Analysis: /b Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. /li libFinancial Reporting: /b Assist in preparing financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements. /li libSupport: /b Work closely with the senior controllers, finance director and local finance managers of the yards and other finance professionals to support various financial operations. /li libAd Hoc Analysis: /b Conduct ad hoc financial analyses as required by management. /li /ul h3Skills Experience /h3 ul libEducation: /b Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Business administration, or a related field.
