The Brand Marketing Senior Specialist is responsible for leading the one-year Benelux brand planning process to drive share, revenue and operating income goals for assigned brand(s).
Lead insights and business analysis ongoing and develop mainly appropriate consumer but also professional and channel strategies to drive brand growth. Coordinate execution of brand plan other functions such as trade marketing and professional services. Lead cross brand initiatives that support overall company objectives. Provide significant input into overall brand portfolio and strategic direction for brands locally and globally.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
Responsible for annual brand planning process incorporating regional/global guidelines and strategy. Recommends proactively throughout year to change plan based on analysis of performance and insights from category, customers, consumers and competition.
Responsible for the development and implementation of strategic and operational off- and online marketing activities to assure delivery of brand sales and share targets (incl. HB/PL) while aligning brand portfolio with strategic vision.
Lead development and execution of annual brand budget (A&P). Set metrics for spending and continuously track to ensure effectiveness of spend and delivery of operating income target.
Develop and activate brand consumer positioning for Benelux market in conjunction with European/Global counterparts. Ensure appropriate research and insights are developed to support positioning.
Identify and leverage insight to activate assigned brand(s) and drive share as well as to enhance brand awareness, relevant differentiation, value and accessibility
Lead insight development from research into competition, category, consumers and customers
Lead cross brand initiatives within department and organization to deliver on company objectives.
Ensure all relevant Brand Management processes (budgeting, forecasting, planning, product launches, input into monthly report to Finance/BPA) are completed on a timely basis.
Travel:
Commercial travel requirements between 5% to 10%
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Use of display screens
Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years Product Management experience, preferably in FMCG or in Medical devices, Pharma (OTC), vision care (frames, glasses, contact lenses)
Brand Marketing and Project Management experience an advantage
Experience collaborating with other commercial functions (Sales or Trade Marketing)
Understanding of the Benelux Optical market is an advantage
Ability of managing third party agencies
Education:
Degree in Marketing Management
