AMF’s Netherland locations in Gorinchem, Bunschoten, and Nieuwleusen employ over 170 teammates providing a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to be part of its team as a Technical Buyer
The Technical Buyer will join our Supply Chain Management team and be responsible for sourcing all parts and services needed for repairs and (preventive) maintenance of installed bakery equipment at customer sites. Besides sourcing for Customer Care, you will also be challenged to improve our sourcing processes and results based on analysis of supplier performances and other SCM KPIs. We work closely together as a team and participate in several improvement initiatives.
Primary duties :
Sourcing of machine parts, electrical components, and other technical materials and services
Administration of our sourcing in Trimergo (ERP system)
Initiating and realizing improvements concerning on-time availability, costs, quality, and risks
Analyzing supplier performances and other SCM KPIs
Participation in Daily Management and other meetings
Together with the team, develop a network of preferred suppliers worldwide, resulting in a lean and reliable sourcing process
Exploring alternative sourcing options
Participation in various improvement initiatives for which we use the Markel Business System (LEAN tools)
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Procurement, Logistics, or something similar
NEVI-1 or comparable
Minimum of 2 years of experience with sourcing technical materials
Drive to improve the business
Excellent communicative and analytical skills with a strong focus on results
Humor and team spirit
Good at prioritizing even when it gets hectic
Excellent in Dutch and English, both verbal and written
