Are you passionate about food and driven to create technical and chemical solutions that enhance product quality and shelf life? Do you enjoy hands-on lab work and want to understand the science behind what makes products work? If so, we’d love to meet you! We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on Senior Technician to join our Product Development (PD) team within the Innovation Center. You’ll help develop and improve products and value propositions across diverse application areas, with a strong focus on food and nutrition.
About the Team
Based in Gorinchem (NL), the PD team consists of ~14 professionals and supports all branches of the company, especially in health and nutrition. We focus on innovation, prototyping, and customer/business support. You’ll be part of a sub-team of 5 and report to the Manager Product Development.
Your Role
As a Senior Technician, you’ll bring a solid applied technical background—ideally in chemistry or food science—and work both independently and in multidisciplinary teams. You’ll spend most of your time in the lab, collaborating with microbiologists and application experts across fermentation, powder technology, and sustainability.
You’re customer-focused, pragmatic, and thrive in a dynamic, informal environment. You’re fluent in English (Dutch is a plus) and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
