As our SAP Master Data Steward, you own the master data creation and maintenance process and initiate and support improvements. You process master data requests according described responsibilities, engaging with several business area’s.

You will gather Master Data input from different departments, including Global Supply Chain (GSC), Product Management, Manufacturing Planning, QA/QC and Finance. You also collaborate closely with IT for master data systems.

You are based at our Gorinchem (NL) site with the possibility to partially work from home, and you report to the Senior Manager Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

Safeguard the material master data process:

Create of material master data, ensuring that master data definitions, ownership and quality rules adhere to Corbion conventions

Maintain material master data, ensuring that master data definitions, ownership and quality rules adhere to Corbion conventions

Serve as a subject matter expert regarding material master data, acting as first point of contact within the business for master data related issues for materials

Safeguard the process of master data workflow requests – to be in line with data policies, procedures, and standards – providing final approval before execution

Maintain documentation concerning master data processes and systems in which the data exists

Monitor material master data workflows on processing within SLA and escalate exceptions to master data management where needed

Support material master data improvement initiatives:

Analyze and manage master data quality in material master data

Identify areas for improvement in data quality and master data governance workflows

Work with subject matter experts and process owners to improve data quality

Support initiatives on data definitions, business rules and standards for master data

Supply reports on material master data on request

Proper request-handling through material master data systems

Maintain databases and ticket systems related to creation and maintenance of material master data

Request material master data system enhancements, in order to improve quality and speed of request handling

Acting as Key user for material master data systems:

Maintain Standard Operating Procedures, documented through master data systems

Support and training of users

About you

Corbion is looking for a proactive Master Data Steward with a continuous improvement mindset and a can-do mentality. A successful candidate also meets the following criteria:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

At least 2 years working experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment

Experience with use of ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4

Experience with master data systems, preferably SAP MDG

Languages: Good command of the English language. Dutch is considered beneficial.
