Within their IT department, we are looking for an Infrastructure Architect with Cloud Expertise to join the team. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine your expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and DevOps in a dynamic and challenging environment.
What Will You Do?
As an Infrastructure Architect within the Value Delivery and IT DevOps department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on cloud technologies. You will work closely with various teams to deliver innovative solutions and integrate cloud infrastructure into the broader IT strategy.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions in the cloud (preferably AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Enhancing the current IT infrastructure by applying best practices in cloud architecture and DevOps principles.
- Supporting the IT DevOps team in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automating processes.
- Advising both technical and non-technical stakeholders on infrastructure choices and cloud solutions.
- Developing and implementing strategic plans for cloud infrastructure, focusing on security, performance, and cost management.
- Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations while monitoring infrastructure performance.
- Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of IT processes and sharing knowledge within the team.
Who Are You?
We are looking for an Infrastructure Architect with a passion for cloud technologies and DevOps, who thrives in a dynamic and fast-changing environment. You have:
- A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role as an Infrastructure Architect, preferably in shipbuilding or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with DevOps principles and tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Experience in designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly convey complex technical information to various stakeholders.
- Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
